This September the world of fashion and the world art will collide in an unprecedented way – right here in London. Nailphilia is an innovative new concept in nail art that intends to turn nails into the world’s smallest canvases.
Nail Art Exhibition
London’s First Ever Nail Art Exhibition is brought to you buy DegreeArt.com and Sweet Squared, in collaboration with some of London’s finest nail technicians and fashion’s most recognised names.
“Nailphilia will delve deep into the nail world’s most creatively established, merging Fashion and Art and redefining everything you thought you knew about the aesthetic of the fingertips.”
The Artists
Alongside DegreeArt.com Artists, Nailphilia will feature a veritable who’s who of London’s nail royalty including Marian Newman, Sophy Robson, Sam Biddle, Mike Pocock, Megumi Mizuno, Antony Buckley, Jenny Longworth, Sue Marsh, Kirsty Meakin and The Illustrated Nail. The artists will showcase their talents & techniques through a variety of installation, photography, film, and books.
The Fashion
Art is only half of it, Nailphilia will also showcase the collaboration of Fashion visionaries Nick Knight of SHOWstudio and Minx Nails and innovative nail jewelry by Cheap Monday and Laruicci.
